If you are already a sailor or intend to become one, and you like everything that has to do with regattas, racing adrenaline, friendly atmosphere combined with the beautiful shore of the Croatian part of the Adriatic, whether you want to enrich your skipper experience or are you participating in the race for the first time - you are in the right place.
We organize our own regattas and/or can arrange a place /boat in a regatta you wish to participate in.
We have studied the Сalendar of the Sailing Sports Federation of Croatia and selected among 409 competitions throughout the year the most significant and interesting regattas in terms of number of participants, sailing boats quality, routes and themes.
Some of the regattas we represent here have already acquired an international status and are well known to foreign sailors coming to Croatia, while others are relatively unknown, but judging by their idea - they will grow soon!
The Rules of the Charter Yacht's Preparation and Participation in the Regatta and/or Flotilla
1. The Charter Yacht shall be returned to the home Marina after the Regatta's and/or Flotilla's completion.
2. The Skipper shall possess an appropriate certificate proving his/her qualification to operate the Charter Yacht during the Regatta and/or Flotilla (including a VHF certificate).
3. The Skipper assumes full responsibility for the safety of the Charter Yacht, for all equipment and supplies on board, as well as for all crew members.
4. The Skipper is obliged to inform all crew members that the use of any drugs and alcohol is prohibited on the Charter Yacht during the Regatta and/or Flotilla.
5. All parts of the equipment can be adjusted in accordance with the Charter Yacht Rules of Operation, except for shrouds and backstays. The adjustment of shrouds and backstays is prohibited. Should the opposite happen, confirmed by witnesses and/or evidence, Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. reserves the right to withhold a fine from the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/or from the Skipper from the relevant Charter Yacht deposit amount for each fact of such violation, according to the current Price List. It is understood that photograps and video recordings made by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. are considered to be the absolute evidence.
6. All equipment handed over to the Skipper during check-in shall be stored on the Charter Yacht while sailing. Should the opposite happen, confirmed by witnesses and/or evidence, Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. reserves the right to withhold a fine from the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/or from the Skipper from the relevant Charter Yacht deposit amount for each fact of such violation, according to the current Price List. It is understood that photographs and video recordings made by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. are considered to be the absolute evidence.
7. The Charter Yacht can be prepared for the Regatta and/or Flotilla by the staff of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o according to the current Price List, including:
- main anchor dismantling and placing in a stern or bow lockers;
- removal of bimini textile part, sprayhood, top, tent and their storage in the storeroom of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o.
- available for Elan E4 only - removal of bimini metal structure (1 piece) and its storage in the storeroom of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o.
8. The main anchor can be removed from the bow of the Charter Yacht and placed into the stern or bow lockers. The anchor chain shall be placed into the anchor locker.
9. Removal of the anchor roller is prohibited.
10. Dismantling and moving of the other items of the Charter Yacht equipment is prohibited.
11.The Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer undertakes to inform the Base Manager about the damage or loss of any equipment as soon as possible or immediately after the Charter Yacht's first mooring.
12. Replacement of the damaged or lost equipment shall not be allowed without the permission of the Base Manager of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. The replacement requests shall be submitted by the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer as soon as possible or immediately after the Charter Yachts' first mooring.
13. The Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer undertakes to inform the Base Manager of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. as soon as possible about any Charter Yacht leaving the Regatta and/or Flotilla for any reason.
14. All registered crew members shall be on board of the Charter Yacht according to the crew list during the Regatta and/or Flotilla.
15. Additional hull cleaning (underwater part) of the Charter Yacht can be carried out exclusively by the staff of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. according to the current Price List. Underwater cleaning request shall be submitted by the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer no later than 2 weeks before the Regatta's and/or Flotilla's start. If the request is not submitted in a timely manner, the staff of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. can carry out the underwater cleaning, wherever possible, and may charge a double fee for such a service.
16. Additional hull cleaning (underwater part) of the Charter Yacht by the Regatta and/or Flotilla participants or any other persons (except for the staff of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o) is strictly prohibited at any time during the charter. Should the opposite happen, confirmed by witnesses and/or evidence, Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. reserves the right, to withhold a fine from the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/or from the Skipper from the relevant Charter Yacht deposit amount for each fact of such violation, according to the current Price List. It is understood that photographs and video recordings made by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. are considered to be the absolute evidence.
17. Diving and scuba diving equipment, plastic pools or their equivalents cannot be used around the Charter Yacht during the Regatta and/or Flotilla.
18. The Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer undertakes to coordinate with the Base Manager of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. the placement of any information materials and mass media. It is prohibited to place stickers and any other adhesive information and advertising media on the Charter Yacht. Should the opposite happen, confirmed by witnesses and evidence, Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. reserves the right to withhold a fine in amount of 50 euro for each fact of such violation from the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/of from the Skipper. It is understood that photographs and video recordings made by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. are considered to be the absolute evidence. However, such information materials shall be removed by the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/or by the Skipper through their own effort, while preserving the Charter Yacht's intactness.
19. Additional technical support for the Regatta and/or Flotilla can be provided by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. in response to the request submitted to Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. by the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer no later than 2 weeks prior to the Regatta's and/of Flotilla's start. Such service can be provided wherever possible and in accordance with the current Price List.
20. Charter Yacht's receipt and transfer from Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. to a Skipper and vice versa shall be carried out in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o., subject to mandatory filling in of the Check-list.
21. Skipper's signature on the Check-list confirms that the Skipper has inspected and found all the Charter Yacht's equipment, including sails, rigging, Charter Yacht's hull, etc. in a good condition suitable for participation in the Regatta and/or Flotilla.
22. Communication between the Regatta and/or Flotilla Organizer and/ or the Skipper and the Base Manager of Jedriti svijetom d.o.o., including the exchange of damage photos, documents, etc., is carried out via mobile phone, WhatsApp or by E-mail specified in the documentation handed over along with the Charter Yacht.
23. The present Rules can be updated by Jedriti svijetom d.o.o. unilaterally.
